MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Jun 06

Worked for 6 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

We observed a nova from 11pm-4am. Before 11 pm we tried to do spectroscopy but lost ability to point when we set the RA and DEC encoders after an offset was entered. After restarting we decided to go to imaging. We took sky flats as well through twilight at dawn. Seeing was good all night. The telescope focus changed a bit while imaging. When using the lamps, Xe turns itself on at random times.
