MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Mar 29 Observer(s): Schiminovich, Hamden, Gordon, Ong Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Proto-Chas Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: A fabulous night of observing. Aside from the issues previously described (neon lamp, guider focus, general pointing) we had an uneventful, even boring night, of taking great data with proto-chas. While we do have some aspects of proto-chas to work on, things went very smoothly. Clear skies and good music all night. Also made a delicious mole for dinner. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2014 Mar 30 [5:04:24]
