MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 May 30

Worked for 8.5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Night started off with some clouds.  Cleared near the end of twilight.  Seeing was
about 1.2 arcsec during the night.  Some clouds will evident in the morning when we closed.
Spent most of the night learning the OSMOS slit acquisition procedure.  Obtained spectra
of two standard stars and a classical nova among many failed acquisition attempts.
