MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Oct 09

Worked for 5 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from start until midn.
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Patchy low cloud at sunset eventually cleared out; humidity 
started going down around 11:30.  Dewar window took about an
hour to defog, but we were open before 1:00.  Rest of night was 
good.  Two problems, one a real head-scratcher that affected 
part of the spectral data, and another with the dome motion; see
trouble report.
