MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Oct 10

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

A very nice night with mostly quite good seeing. Just a 
couple of small glitches, described in trouble report for the
record. Dome issue from last night did not recur; a single
exposure showed evidence of incipient red dropout, but very
thankfully that wasn't a problem either.  Humidity dropped
well below 50%.

In June I ran a pointing test, and during shutdown Eric 
installed the model coefficients I derived from the test. 
Tonight's program involved quite a few slews, and I can
confirm what Mark and others have reported, namely that the 
pointing is dramatically improved.
