MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Oct 22

Worked for 2 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Clear sky and good seeing at start of the night. Took two hours
of data when shutter failed again. Spoke to Eric and I replaced
the 1/4 amp fuse with a 3/16 amp. No difference. The removed fuse 
does not look burnt out. (??) With no shutter, had to close-up
again. Don't understand why it quits with no warning.

Because I have only one night left, I would like to ask for the
CCDS for Thursday if possible. This has impact on staff work 
as well on the next observer. But if he encounters similar
shutter problems he could lose 3 nights.
