MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Jun 13

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Seeing fluctuated throughout the night, reaching a low of ~0.8-0.9.

Light clouds, moderate humidity (~40%).

In total, five objects were observed, in addition to a standard star.

Focus was difficult to achieve, likely due to the current mirror load bearing issue.

Two problems arose over the course of the night:
1) When running any script (custom or standard scripts like focus4k), the filename command would fail,
causing the script to abort.
2) At the end of the night, control over the telescope via xtcs was lost. The telescope was set to zenith
manually with the toggle. Unclear if rebooting would fix the issue -- will report tomorrow on status of the
telescope control.
