MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Mar 14 Observer(s): Ashley Pagnotta Institution(s): AMNH Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 11.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Winds were high all night, but never gusted much above 30 mph, averaged around 20 mph.Sky was hazy with varying amounts of low, light clouds, never photometric. Starting with image #58 (taken at UT 07:53), the upper right (NW) chip appeared to stop collecting photos. I’ve no idea why this happened (it was an unremarkable star otherwise), but I was able to manually shift all of my targets onto one of the three normally-functioning CCds . ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 Mar 15 [7:14:40]
