MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Mar 23 Observer(s): Kay/Moran Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: 4K Worked for 9.0 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Observing generally went well. Seeing was decent most of the night (~1.0 - 1.3 arsec). Not sure if it was truly photometric, but we saw no evidence of clouds. The temperature changed quite a bit and never seemed to be steady. So, the focus changed a lot. We were slowed a bit by the fact that the instrument or prospero didn't behave correctly when a subarray was selected. So, the focusing couldn't be done with short readout times. The data are quite good. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 Mar 24 [5:34:17]
