MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Nov 12 Observer(s): Ryan Chornock Institution(s): Ohio University Instrument: OSMOS/R Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: This was my second night operating the OSMOS/R queue, mostly observing AGN for me, but also getting a SN for the ASASSN collaboration. Stephan Frank joined me for part of the night as he prepared for a very long run of his own. Very efficient observing tonight, with long sequences on each target punctuated by bursts of activity associated with the acquisitions. A little cirrus at sunset, but mostly clear during the night. It was noticeably warmer and less windy tonight, and the seeing improved relative to yesterday, down to ~1.4 at the end of the night. Everything went smoothly and I had no problems. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 Nov 13 [6:25:48]
