MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Sep 23 Observer(s): Paust, Jordan, Walker Institution(s): Whitman/Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS/4K Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.25 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.25 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: I wish this weather had come a few days earlier, but it was beautiful observing last night. The only problem we ran into was that the window had some condensation on it from the last few days rain. Our first few evening flats were ruined, but we got the dry nitrogen line hooked up and were able to recover in time to take some longer I flats. We also had to reset the pointing using the tilt sensors, probably because of the lightning shutdowns on the last couple of days. Other than that though, we spent the entire night on sky. Now it's time to go deal with the data. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 Sep 24 [6:28:46]
