MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Aug 06

Worked for 5 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 8 until 11.
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Before the sunset, the sky was clear so we took some flat images. 
After 8PM, thick clouds covered all sky and we closed dome. 
Since I found relatively near lightning (I think..), 
I started to do the lightning shutdown procedure. 
But after I finished to do something in the air-bag computer, 
the nearby lightning disappeared and the sky got clear. 

After KPNO opened their domes again (11:30PM), 
we also open the dome. 
We found that the rotator did not work but we fixed it 
(details are in the troble reports).
