MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Aug 19

Worked for 5 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from start until 10:30.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Hail and lightning in afternoon, cloudy with showers first half,
but cleared beautifully with medium humidity by 11 PM or so. 
Came up from lightning shutdown (great training for Jessica) 
and got started by about 11:30 -- everything went smoothly after
that, except for the dome failing (see trouble report) and a
gotcha we found in osctrtask (to be fixed tomorrow).  OSMOS 
worked very nicely.
