MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Aug 20 Observer(s): Thorstensen&Klusmeyer Institution(s): Dartmouth/MDM Instrument: OSMOS+B4k Worked for 6 hours (off and on through the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Monsoon again, but clearing by around 10, with intervals of high cloud afterward; closed for about an hour when it clouded up around 1 AM. Fairly decent seeing. Night of the critters! There was a centipede in the shop right where one walks by the sink, and mouse caught in the trap outside the observing room door.
