MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Dec 25

Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity all night.

Observing Summary:

Spent the day trying to defrost the dome.  Turned it to get
sun on all sides, but there was not much sun all day.
The dome encoder was seen to produce excess counts when turning
to smaller angles.  Did the climb to disconnect the encoder
box.  Had to do this twice to make it work.  We'll see if this
fix holds tonight.  In the end we did not observe due to
high humidity.
