MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Feb 08 Observer(s): Sheffield Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Echelle+Modspec Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Cirrus present for most of the night. While aligning the slit rotator with the slit angle on the TCS, the rotator angle suddenly switched to ~ -580 degrees; this happened at an angle of ~60 degrees.
