MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Feb 27 Observer(s): Hodges-Kluck Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: OSMOS-B Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing ?? arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The weather was quite good and I observed all night. Between 2-4 am there were occasional (no obvious periodicity) jitters in the RA that led to slight streaking of about 1 arcsec in a 60s exposure, and I verified that they were not caused by the autoguider or bad focus. I am not sure if they are connected to the issues reported in the previous reports, and they mostly went away after I reset the pointing. The Dec did not vary as far as I could tell. In any case, the issue did not seriously affect the data collection since I was using a 3 slit for taking spectra. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2016 Feb 28 [7:06:38]
