MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Jan 27 Observer(s): Hodges-Kluck Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The weather was good but most of the sky was covered by cirrus for much of the night so the seeing was generally poor. I obtained spectra for 9 targets. There were no instrumental problems, although once through my own fault I lost pointing and hit a soft limit. Pointing was restored using the tilt sensors and there were no more problems. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2016 Jan 28 [7:24:48]
