MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Jan 30 Observer(s): Nunez, Douglas Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: ModSpec/Echelle Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds High Mid: Clear, Winds High End: Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: It was a clear and windy night; gusts were in the high 20s at the beginning of the night, and in the low 20s the rest of the night. The seeing wasn't great, and the gusts affected guiding. Aside from that, and two repeated incidents of last night's problems, we got good data. Twice the telescope repeated the problem from last night where it jumped around and the mirror airbag levels fluctuated wildly. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2016 Jan 31 [6:32:23]
