MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Jul 06

Worked for 5 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 2300 until 0545.
   Beg: Seeing 2.6 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 3.65 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Poor seeing developed shortly after the night began. Images looked out of focus. 

Humidity rose steadily throughout the night and at about 0100 reached 85%. I shut the telescope down before it reached that point. The rising humidity may have contributed to the poor image quality due to condensation. I did not see any signs of water present on the images but it may have formed. Humidity is at 91% at 0545.
