MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Jul 16

Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Rain from 6:30 until 10:30.

Observing Summary:

Thunder storms beginning around 6:30 PM, and bad weather continued for most of the night
Needed to follow lightning shutdown procedure for both 2.4 and 1.3 due to lighting on mountain.
KPNO dome status remained closed throughout entire night, and cloud coverage very thick.

No data will be able to be taken tonight. 
Will see what weather looks like tomorrow afternoon before starting up the telescopes again
