MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Mar 01

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:


We continued using the red grism on OSMOS to take hour-long spectra of AGN and old SNe.

Uneventful-- some light cirrus at sunset, otherwise clear with good seeing.

Some of the spectra taken with the R4K chip have weird electronic-looking noise in the upper-left quadrant (not just the lower-left one).  I should look into this more later to provide some good examples.
