MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 May 09

Worked for 8 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

I tried to do the deep Halpha imaging of a galaxy. But there are some problems during these observations.
First, the many images show a strange dark region on their left edges.
Second, I determine  the colfocus, which makes the FWHM ~ 4.5 pixels. But the images still show special pattern for point source, which means there is something wrong.
I don't know how to resolve these two problems. SO probably, the obtained imaging is not that useful.
