MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 May 16

Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:

Observing Summary:

Skies were clear, or nearly so, all night.  KPNO closed shortly after twilight end
because of blowing dust, and we did the same.  Although they reopened at the
summit shortly after midnight, we stayed closed because there was visible dust
in flashlight beams and slowly accumulating dust on outside surfaces such as
auto glass.  We gave up around 02:45: dust was slowing (though not entirely)
and we started to notice condensation on rails and cars.
