MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Apr 21 Observer(s): Kay/Moran Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: B4K direct Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We had a great night -- good weather, pretty good seeing, and almost no problems. Excellent data. Focus was generally better tonight. When attempting an offset in the xtcs gui the telescope ran away again. We're positive that it was not a mistake on our part. Luckily, this occurred when we were checking the pointing at the start of the night, so we were able to do the recovery without losing much dark time.
