MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Apr 26 Observer(s): Tom Holoien Institution(s): Ohio State Instrument: OSMOSB4k Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Fairly thick cloud cover caused issues with finding targets and guide stars all night. Ran into an issue with the telescope drifting in the E-W direction, which seemed to only happen when guiding. This disrupted a few observations, particularly at the end of the night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2017 Apr 27 [4:57:41]
