MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Aug 24

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Amazingly good night for August; a bit of stuff around early,
then perfectly clear with moderate humidity and OK seeing.  Much
more efficient with acquisition tonight.  Did have a strange 
problem which we eventually diagnosed (see report)

Internet went down early in the evening; this report delayed 
because of that.
