MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Aug 27

Worked for 6 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 12:30 until 2:00.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Mostly clear; good at sunset.  A few clouds passing over from
NE early in the evening; a bit after midnight an opaque band of 
high cloud came over and persisted for about 1 1/2 hr.  Then
it was mostly clear again for the rest of the night.  Seeing
not bad but a bit mediocre. 

No problems except a few missteps.
