MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Dec 08

Worked for 14 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

First night using the R4K. Experienced several occurrences 
of the  icicle  pixels that develop from saturation. See
the trouble report for details on that.

The serial port that allows the user to operate the 
instrument rotator with the GUI came out of its socket. 
This didn't impact observing, but is worthy of note.

Seeing was better than last night, with moments of normalcy,
though still not great.
