MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Dec 09 Observer(s): Rupert, Runnoe, Eracleous Institution(s): MDM, UMich, PSU Instrument: OSMOS/R Worked for 14 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 5 until end. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: It was a bit cloudy in the very early goings, but it cleared enough to do science after about 30 minutes. Cirrus clouds hung around for much of the night. They got too thick for observing around 5 and stuck around for the rest of the night.
