MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Feb 01 Observer(s): Jessica Klusmeyer Institution(s): MDM Instrument: OSMOSB4k Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2.1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Thin cirrus clouds Had the same issues as other nights(problem is known not writing another trouble report), have found the telescope pointing to be off after ~each target. Having to go to nearest brightest, and if not there back to zenith tilt sensors. Slows down the process but seems faster than searching at target area for object/ guide stars. Did miss a few targets towards the end of night because of this problem. End of queue, will be back Feb 21-25th! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2017 Feb 2 [7:21:39]
