MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Feb 12 Observer(s): Ryan Chornock Institution(s): Ohio University Instrument: OSMOS/B No Observing (see comments below) Bad weather most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Very bad weather all night. Observing Summary: After an overcast day, it cleared up in late afternoon and was quite clear at sunset, but with some low clouds present in the distance. When it was still clear an hour after sunset, I cautiously opened up the 2.4m. Predictably, 20 minutes later a cloud rolled in overhead and the humidity jumped up near 70%. I immediately shut down and stayed that way for the rest of the night due to clouds and high humidity. There was a little rain by morning. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2017 Feb 13 [5:27:44]
