MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Jan 30

Worked for 8 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Clear Sky


Dome was out of position for most of the night, reset encoders to fix


Sometime around 0100 local started having issues with the guider (see trouble report)
Tried moving around to different stars and cycling MIS, nothing seemed to work
Noticed targets were not in image
Did a TCS reboot 

Observed maybe one or two more targets before problem returned



Did not have enough time to get back to targets before significant twilight 
Waited, took some flats and called it a night
