MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Jul 18

Conditions were Mixed most of the night.

Seeing and Weather:
   Rain from 11PM until 2AM.

Observing Summary:

The evening began with rain, but cleared up for several hours.
However, the humidity was too high to observe with OSMOS. There
was another major storm system from 11pm-2am. At 3 am it was clear
with humidity ~75%, and we tried to bring the 2.4m out of 
lightning shutdown. However, hiltner failed to boot (see trouble 
report). Therefore, we were unable to observe. Although there is a
chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon, we left hiltner trying
to boot and the TCS and IC computers on just in case hiltner
eventually succeeds.
