MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Jun 25

Instrument: modspec+echelle

Worked for 6 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5-3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Thunderstorm nearby before sunset (though it was moving away),
and new observers to train (Ruth Angus and Dan Foreman-Mackey), 
so we did most of a lightning shutdown, and came back up from it.
Eventually opened and got on sky.  It was nice and clear after
that, though with highly variable seeing.  By the end of the 
night it was significantly clooer than it's been, around 68F.
