MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Mar 23

Instrument: OSMOS R4K

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Patchy clouds cleared up at sunset with some wind gusts

Still adjusting to R4k and proper counts needed for flats

Dome was off during the night and was off 35deg at home
adjusted connections inside dome but still an issue
checked after each target, not a real problem but did take some time


No other issues, still a little slow with the R4k 
The osqlsp quick reduction not the same as B4k and 
the wavelength calibration is not adjusted
I dont know how to adjust for the R4k
had to check targets with extra images on each target if too faint
