MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 May 11

Worked for 2 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

- Pointing is extremely unstable.  Going from one object to the
next the pointing was off by at least 10 arcsec, and sometimes not
in the FOV of the slit viewing camera.  We only observed 3-4
objects and spent half the time trying to find our pointing.

- The hatch door is still open.  It seems jammed and not like it
was 2 years ago.  I didn't want to force it, so I left it open.

- The dead mouse is still under the control console.  Worried it 
will start to decay but too squeamish to remove.  Thanks!!
