MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Nov 05 Observer(s): Douglas, Nunez Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 0800 until 1300. Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The night started off mostly clear with occasional cirrus, and we got a lot of good data. Around 2-3am more cirrus started rolling in. It steadily increased and by 4 we ran out of bright targets we could observe through the clouds. Otherwise it was a productive night. We again hit the issue where the TCS doesn't seem to know how to cross between RA=00 and RA=23 (in either direction), and had to restart the IC in Prospero a couple of times. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2017 Nov 6 [4:08:00]
