MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Oct 19

Worked for 2 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Mostly cloudy tonight. Only observed at the start of the night. 
Discovered by accident that the dome does not move enough to
keep it from blocking the telescope. Can be avoided by watching 
the dome-telescope azimuth difference and adjusting by the use
of the hand paddle...but why?
