MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Apr 24

Instrument: Modspec+echelle

Worked for 7.5 hours (part of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 10:30 until 2:30.
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

The power failed at 11:01 PM -- the connection was briefly lost. 

The telescope pointing was generally good (this is my first time using the 
new TCS) although the star was consistently off to the east.
 There were clouds throughout the night, pretty heavy mid-way.

I could not open the garage door all the way; only got it to about a third :/
