MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Aug 28

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Another productive night of observing.

Tried to use the temperature-driven focus shift with
the latest update. Found that it really wasn't doing that.
Also I tried to use the hand paddle to move the focus in,
with the focus shift feature enabled, and the focus just
ran away (in). I was unable to stop it's movement with
the  STOP  button, nor did disabling the feature work.
I just ended up closing the TCS software and bringing it
back up. Didn't try to use the feature after that. Didn't
really lose a lot of time with this bug, but it's definitely
enough to work with for future updates to this feature.
