MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Feb 05 Observer(s): Douglas, Weaver Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: OSMOS/R Worked for 9 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: We got on sky in twilight and observed as long as M44 was up, but cirrus clouds affected our observations all night. We ran into trouble with the mdm24ws1 remote connector---it seems to have died completely at this point---and closed early. The guide probe also got stuck and we had to restart the MIS a couple of times. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2018 Feb 6 [5:24:15]
