MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Feb 07 Observer(s): Douglas, Weaver, Carmichael Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: OSMOS/R Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: We were on sky for pretty much the whole night, and the sky was beautifully clear, but somehow our counts were >2-3x too low for the first half of the night, and were generally too low the whole night relative to past nights. There was no apparent obstruction to the telescope and the 1.3m observers had no apparent seeing or transparency issues. We also had massive issues with the guide probe, and think this may be related to the lost flux - details in the trouble report. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2018 Feb 8 [6:10:04]
