MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Jan 09

Worked for 1 hours (first half of the night)
Bad weather most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Rain from 0200 until 1300.
   Beg: Cirrus, Winds High
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Moderate
   End: Overcast, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

I opened shortly after sunset and was able to slew over to a 
target, however Prospero crashed (the command window stopped 
responding) while I was acquiring the sky image of the target. 
I went back to zenith since the weather was getting questionable, 
closed the mirror covers, and restarted prospero. However, then 
the dome wouldn't come home when I tried to send it home from the
TCS GUI. I was able to bring it home with the hand paddle and then
close up. 

Skies were overcast for the rest of the night with high humidity,
and it rained on and off.
