MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Jan 11 Observer(s): Douglas Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: OSMOS/R Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Seeing was awful, but it was perfectly clear and I was on sky all night. I had to spend a lot of time focusing; I don't recall the focus changing during small slews before. The dome also wouldn't go home if I used the TCS again, although once I got it moving with the paddle it seemed to be ok. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2018 Jan 12 [6:33:13]
