MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Jan 28

Worked for 5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Clear, Winds High
   End: Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:

Low humidity and clear skies prevailed during the night.
The night started with moderate-to-strong winds.
By 11:30 PM, KPNO closed for strong winds,
sustained winds at ARO reached 32 mph,
and sustained winds at MDM reached 25 mph, with gusts getting uncomfortably close to 40 mph.
Forecast called for increased gusts, so I called it a night.
Also, have to drive early down the mountain.
