MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Jun 05

Instrument: modspec + echelle

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Much clearer than last night with mostly good seeing. A bit breezy
at times.  Echelle behaved itself all night but turned the 
electronics box off this morning as a precaution.

Jules alerted me via email to an X-ray transient; I was able to
find the counterpart (independently, it turned out) and write an
ATEL reporting the spectrum.
