MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Mar 12 Observer(s): David Schiminovich + Columbia Observing Class Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Cohort of Columbia undergraduates learned to operate telescope and observe a range of targets, using both imaging and spectroscopy. Conditions were mixed, with high clouds passing through slowly.
