MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 May 20 Observer(s): Halpern Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 9.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Cirrus, Winds Moderate End: Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Everything worked well. The first half of the night had thick cirrus, but the second half was clear. The dome was following the telescope after all, just not moving as frequently as I was expecting. It still needs to be kicked with the paddle to go home. I will be leaving for the airport in an hour or so. There is a dead mouse in the vestibule. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2018 May 21 [5:45:01]
