MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Nov 17 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: modspec + echelle ccd Worked for 8 hours (off and on through the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from midn. until dawn. Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Very light cirrus and good seeing early in the night, but heavier high cloud moved in before midnight and it was touch and go after that -- stopped observing at times when even bright backup targets were too badly obscured.
